I’ve never been very interested in staying inside the lines.

I’m Lissette, a Virginia-based artist and muralist with a BFA from Florida Atlantic University. My work moves between fine art, large-scale murals, portraiture, commissions, and creative installations—connected by a love of bold color, expressive marks, and making something that feels alive.

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, but my relationship with it has never followed a perfectly straight path. I began with drawing, found my way into painting, taught art, experimented with different mediums, and continued creating through every version of life in between. Along the way, I realized that I don’t want my work—or myself—to fit neatly into one box.

That freedom has become an important part of my practice.

Some pieces are loud and saturated with color. Others are quiet, detailed, playful, personal, or a little unexpected. Sometimes the canvas is small enough to hold in my hands; sometimes it’s an entire wall. What matters to me is creating work that transforms a space, sparks a feeling, or makes someone stop and look a little longer.

After years of creating around the edges of everything else, I’m returning to art with a different perspective and a renewed sense of purpose. Lissette.world is my invitation to step inside that world with me—a place for original art, murals, commissions, experimentation, and whatever I create next.

I believe art should feel personal. It should have a point of view. And it doesn’t always need to behave.

Welcome to my world.
